Come enjoy in the festivities of the grand reopening of the newly renovated Clover Visitors Center complete with new displays, artifacts, and interpretations of how the Staunton River was so central and pivotal to Southside Virginia from the Sappony Indians and their settlements over 3,000 years ago, to the establishment of plantations like Mulberry Hill, and the commercial developments of the river batteaus and the Richmond & Danville Railway; and the ultimate struggle between brother and brother over the Staunton River Bridge during the American Civil War.
